Wayne Brothers Industrial Concrete Group was called to complete a concrete foundation and equipment pads for new machines. The project presented many challenges as it was complex and had a concentrated schedule.

We first had to verify the integrity of the existing work. We surveyed what was in place, reviewed the old plans and then utilized BIM modeling to validate that the current structure would support the new requirements.

Once everything was verified, we began work. The embeds for the equipment legs were complex. We had 2 clusters of 4 embeds that were welded together as one unit with angle: two measured 5 feet long with 6-inch diameter pipe. The other two measured 3 feet 6 inches with 4-inch diameter pipe.

Currently, we are preforming additional work for the client as a result of delivering a superior product two weeks early on an already concentrated schedule.  Collaboration from start to finish with the General Contractor and End User was a key factor in the project’s success.
